'Why Volunteer?' Seminar

• Why Volunteer? – A Seminar led by CEN8 – Tuesday 21st of October 5.00-7.00pm, NAB 314

There’s a lot to think about at Uni – from your course work, to making time for friends or perhaps squeezing in a few hours at your part-time job. So…why volunteer? Come along to this inspirational talk led by Gill Jarman – co-founder of CEN8, a non-profit organisation based at Goldsmiths. Gill has over 15 years’ experience of working with children and young people in the creative arts. Borrowing from this experience Gill will help you to understand the full value of volunteering while you’re studying. You’ll also get to hear from students who have volunteered themselves and they’ll discuss how volunteering has changed their own lives for the better. There will be the chance for plenty of questions at this seminar and it will finish with some refreshments and the chance for you to meet and chat with others interested in volunteering in a relaxed environment.
